I do not agree with power is mostly in the grip, hogan him self said the hands are simply just holding the club and the power comes from hips/legs to torso then fore arm and is then transferred to the the grip through the shaft, but hogan did also say you must hit both hands with the same amount of strength of both the left and right, the the shaft leaning forward is called Supination of the wrists, which he mostly did this to hit his clubs further. cause by less loft.

Simple advice perfect, helps to understand how to get right behind the ball – this has helped me loads.

the power comer some from the legs ,but mostly from the grip and release it is very neutral and allows the hands to release freely and hogan hit every shot with the SHAFT LEANING FORWARDthis gives consistent compression and makes you hold the energy until contact rather then releaseing it early causing loss of power keep right angle longer between left forarm and shaft stores energy all greats did this check my swing i do it and check my lessons best on the tube thanks hitmanhawky
